National Mounted Police and Toronto Police Services Certified. The Gentle Dove Farm provides educational training in horsemanship using police horse training techniques and methods to encourage partnership and communication to achieve exceptional trust. Gentle Dove Farm services and activities include demonstrations, competitions, clinics, workshops, lessons, lectures, and other events. With over twelve years in the mounted police, Joann will be leveraging her police horse competition experience toward educational efforts with the general public. Joann has successfully competed in international mounted police competitions and earned multiple Grand Champion titles at the North American Police Equestrian Championships, the Brigadier Memorial Champion Award for the top combined obstacle and equitation points with over 100 of the best international mounted police competing, and NYS Police Olympics Gold Medal winner 4 years in a row. The Gentle Dove Farm will share police horse training methods by offering obstacle clinics, workshops, lessons, and lectures to encourage extraordinary trust with your equine partner.
